Sunset Covenant Church

Building a Community Devoted to Loving God and Loving Others

Our Vision

We are a neighborhood church walking in joyous discovery of what it means to build a community devoted to loving God  and loving all people.  We actively study the First(Old) and Second(New) Testaments of the Bible and engage in prayer, worship and fellowship.  Our hope is to be a safe community for all who come, and a people engaging in the community around us in ways that share God's heart of love for our neighbors.

Jesus said, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.  This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it; "Love your neighbor as yourself"(Matt. 22:37)

Core Values

Our Core Values

Worship- We embrace God in adoration as a gathered congregation and as individuals.

Development- We practice intentional spiritual growth through Hospitality, Biblical preaching, small group study, prayer ministry, and fellowship.

Relationships- We intentionally offer and  engage in building friendships with all whom God brings our way, that all would feel welcome here.

Service- We answer to God's call to serve the needs of others.

Mission- We invite others to relationship with Christ.

Our Community

Our small group gatherings focus on creatively generating deeper understanding of God's love for us, and God's hopes for how we would live in relationship with one another and our communities.

"God has shown all you people what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy

and to walk humbly with your God."(Micah 6:8)

Give Today

At Sunset Covenant Church, giving is a practice of grateful response to God. We seek the Holy Spirits guidance as we steward all tithes. In faith we pray God will exponentially multiply the gifts we give for the good of our neighborhood, community and the world we live in!

"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the Lord Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be enough room to store it."(Mal. 3;10)

May God's blessings of provision for all in need rain down! Amen amen.
